SOFA – 988-5K suicide prevention walk/run
Mental Health and the ability to talk about the challenges and support those who are struggling with the weight of depression, substance use, and recovery face a stigma that can make finding help a challenge. 988 is the national hotline that brings resources to those who are struggling. This 5k walk/run helps to highlight that resource and focus on those who are struggling with mental health and suicide related challenges. Honor those who have lost their battle, those who provide services and the families who will forever miss their loved ones and friends that aren’t with us to give hope to those who’s story is not over and keep moving forward.
